Episode 37: You Don't Know Bo: The Legend of Bo Jackson

Two-sport athlete Bo Jackson will forever be known as a cultural icon - and one of the most famous professional sportsmen of all time.

IMDb

After hitting rock bottom last week, it's nice to watch a movie that is done well and these 30 for 30 documentaries are some of the best movies available on Netflix. This is our second ESPN documentary that we have watched for the podcast and it is once again, a home run. Bo Jackson is a legendary athlete that played professional baseball and then played professional football as a hobby in the off season. He was one of the best players in both leagues but a career-ending injury stopped him short of entering the halls of fame for each sport. Retired Bo bow hunts big game so he is arguably more manly now then he was when he was performing feats on the field. This movie is fantastic and it'll make you happy knowing that Jackson will always be remembered thanks to being part of an awesome series. After the movie discussion, we bring back one of our favorite segments: Random Ramblings. Next week, we're trudging back up the bowels to watch Marvel Super Hero Adventures: Frost Fight!
