Two young women go on an exotic Mediterranean vacation and uncover the watery lair of a killer mermaid hidden beneath an abandoned military fortress.
Killer Mermaid is a typical monster movie that successfully includes more horror tropes than you can count on your fingers. It makes for an awful movie. A group of pretty people go to a beautiful location for a vacation. They decide to go to Spooky Island despite being told not to by Creepy Old Guy #2. The monster and it's Nazi pet slowly kill everyone off except for the one girl that is somehow miraculously able to kill the monster. After the review, we talk about The Lobster; A documentary about how modern English people find love, and the new Red Hot Chili Peppers album. Keeping up the horror movie trudge, next week, we're watching Dark Skies.
